MODE OF ACTION: Famoxadone: Fosetyl aluminium belongs to the ethyl-phosphonates chemical group. It is a systemic fungicide that has a multi-site action. It inhibits spore germination and penetration of pathogen into the plant by blocking its mycelial growth and spore production and stimulates the plant's own defense mechanisms. UNIQUE FEATURES: · It is a low-toxic fungicide making it safer to users. · It has both curative and protective effects making it ideal for both protective and curative activity. · It can be translocated both up and down in the plant body making it efficient in all the plant affected areas. CROP TOLERANCE/PHYTOTOXICITY: LADDER 800WDG is not phytotoxic when used as recommended. On roses always test for varietal tolerance on a few plants before large scale application. RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT: Repetitive/continual use of LADDER 800WDG can lead to pesticide resistance. It is recommended that LADDER 800WDG is alternated with pest control products with a different mode of action as well as adhere to good farming practices.
